Penn State York library decorates with book tree

Penn State York book tree

A reader passed on a tip this week about a festive holiday decoration at Penn State York’s on-campus library: a tree made from books.

Acting head librarian Barb Eshbach emailed in a photo of the “tree” with this caption: “We used volumes (appropriately red and green) of old editions of Book Review Digest, Reader’s Guide to Periodical Literature, and the Congressional Quarterly Almanac.”

I’d seen similar ideas on Pinterest (coincidentally, one at another library!). If you stop in, don’t miss it.
