Talking blogs at Martin Library. (Twitter photo by Brittany Wilson)
So you have a blog. You put up a post, or two, or 10.
What’s next?
We took the NewsVroom to Martin Library Wednesday evening to talking about best blogging practices — what’s worked and what hasn’t for www.yorkblog.com in terms of interactive posts, engaging with readers and sharing our content with others. Editorial page editor and blog manager Scott Fisher led the session.
See how the session went and get a few tips for yourself.
I'm the books editor and a multiplatform copy editor at the York Daily Record / Sunday News. I dabble in green living, food, gardening and -- of course -- all things books-related. Have an idea, suggestion or comment? Email me at schain@ydr.com.
What do book lovers enjoy almost as much as reading a book? Talking about it, of course! A group of us here at the Daily Record/Sunday News has decided to take our book talk beyond the newsroom.
We'll share what we like, and what we don't, about the books we are reading. This will also be the place to find out about local authors, new releases, upcoming book signings and what's going on at the York County libraries.
Interested in "The NewsVroom: A Year at the York County Libraries"? Click on the "NewsVroom visits" tab under "Local libraries" on the toolbar at the top of the page.
And, of course, we want to hear from you too. Email your book review to schain@ydr.com and we will post it on Book Buzz.
