Martin Library hosted its annual Celebrity Auction this past Sunday. More than 300 items were up for auction, with the money to aid the children’s library. The library created a list of the items, ranging from sports to music to books, all signed by celebrities.

Fran Keller, marketing director for Martin Library, said on Monday that though she has not finished counting the proceeds, the event raised between $5,700 and $6,000. The auction raised $4,000 in 2012.

Keller said about 80 people came to the event. The best-selling item was a Colts football doll with the helmet signed by Art Donovan, Johnny Unitas, Tom Matte, Jack Burkett and Jim Parker, which sold for $400.
