Girl Scouts get a crash course in journalism at Mason Dixon Public Library

On Wednesday evening, education reporter Angie Mason and I (books editor Sarah Chain) too our mobile media news van, the NewsVroom, down to the Mason-Dixon Public Library in Stewartstown.

We spoke to a Cadette troop of seven Girl Scouts, explaining a bit about what we do as journalists and the tools we’re using to focus on digital reporting.

See how our session went — complete with funny face photos as the girls learned to use the iPad and Droid cameras — below.
