Enola student Cooper Wingert releases ‘Harrisburg and the Civil War’

Harrisburg and the Civil War by Cooper WingertEnola student Cooper Wingert celebrates the release of his most recent Civil War title this month, this time focusing on Harrisburg.

Harrisburg and the Civil War: Defending the Keystone of the Union” chronicles the transformation of the city, from the politics to its citizens to the repurposing of its buildings. The 160-page book sells for $19.99.

Wingert will hold a book launch 1 to 3:30 p.m. June 1 and 2 at Civil War & More, 10 S. Market St., Mechanicsburg.
