Baltimore author Marion Winik to hold release party at Holy Hound Taproom

A pint of beer and a celebration of books? On Sunday, July 21, readers can find both at Holy Hound Taproom in downtown York.

Baltimore-based author Marion Winik will hold a launch party for her recently published memoir, “Highs in the Low Fifties: How I Stumbled Through the Joys of Single Living.” Winik will read at 4:30 and 6 p.m.,  and alternative reggae band 27 Lights will perform in between readings.

There is no cover charge, but Books A Million will be selling copies of Winik’s memoir at the event. Find details on the event on Facebook, or watch a book trailer for the memoir above.
