Most of the universe divides time between B.C. and A.D. And then there’s me. I divide time between B.D. and A.D.
That’s Before Droid and After Droid.
Laugh all you want, but consider the following.
Before Droid, I thought a mayorship was held by an elected official.
After Droid, I learned that it’s something you get from playing Foursquare and it can lead to freebies, like coffee 24/7 at Weis.
Before Droid, I thought Angry Birds were why I had so much crap on my car.
After Droid, I learned that it’s a wacky game I spend way too much time playing. But where else can I relieve stress by firing birds through a slingshot at piggies?
Before Droid, carrying my key chain was like hauling around a 5-pound weight.
After Droid, no more plastic reward cards for me. Now they’re all stored on my smart phone where they are organized and easily accessible for scanning.
Before Droid, I physically went from store to store looking for the best buy on a product or searched sites online.
After Droid, I scan a product’s barcode, get the price and reviews without leaving the store aisle I’m in. Now that’s sweet.
Before Droid, I wouldn’t have started this blog.
After Droid, You’re stuck with me forever. (Smiles)
Do you have some B.D./A.D. you could add to my list? I’d love to read them.
About this blog

Hi! I'm Buffy. I'm not a vampire slayer but I do love sinking my teeth into social media -- from Facebook to Foursquare. I hope you join me as I explore the digital landscape and have some fun along the way.

I have an Android-based phone…the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G. I was perfectly content with it until the latest upgrade to Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) was released and I installed it on my phone. My phone is now useless because the new OS hogs the processor.
I won’t pass on Android phones altogether…I’m hoping that when I upgrade things get better…but it’s been a very disappointing month since the “upgrade”.
You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found nearly all folks will consent with your blog.
Hey Doug and Frank, thanks for dropping by. Help spread the word about my blog, pleeeeeease? I hope to see you here often. Later….
