Royal wedding app

By Mark W. Smith of Detroit Free Press
App of the week: The Royal Wedding by NBC News
System: Apple iPhone
Cost: Free
What it does: As the world awaits Friday’s royal nuptials of Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton, this free app from the news division of NBC provides access to a ton of the network’s coverage. It has more than 300 photos and 40 video reports on the royals as well as the latest headlines. There’s an interactive family tree so you can brush up on who’s who and plenty of nostalgia from the wedding of Charles and Diana.
