Q. If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
A. The ability to take away people’s pain.
Q. What makes you angry?
A. Hitting a brick wall in my family research and writers block when trying to work on my blog
Q. If you could be any character in fiction, who would you be?
A. Either Indiana Jones or Benjamin Franklin Gates from the movie “National Treasure”
Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” a holiday tradition in my family
Q. What is your favorite song?
A. At the present time, “Time 2″ by Ewan Dobson, but one never knows what next week holds.
Q. What is the last book you read?
A. “The Battle of Blair Mountain (West Virginia) – Cultural Resource Survey and Recording Project” by the Institute for the History of Technology and Industrial Archaeology. It’s more of a 167 page research paper. If you search for the phrase “Battle of Blair Mountain” online, you’ll learn about a piece of United States history you never learned in school.
Q. If you lived in another time period, which would you choose?
A. The colonial period, where so many historic events took place.
Q. What is your favorite drink?
A. Are freeze pops considered drinks?
Q. What is your favorite color?
A. There’s far too many beautiful colors to choose just one.
Q. Beer or wine?
A. Wine, preferably from a local winery
Q. Coffee or tea?
A. Coffee
Q. Bacon or sausage?
A. Yes please!
Q. Rock or country?
A. I used to play percussion in the York Youth Symphony, so I’m open to any and all types of music, but the country has to be from my childhood.

A. Twitter
Q. Fiction or nonfiction?
A. It really depends on the subject.
Q. Sweet or sour?
A. Well, I am a chocoholic!
Q. What is your favorite spice?
A. I’m pretty boring, so probably pepper or cinnamon
Q. If you were written about in the newspaper, on the front page, what would the headline say?
A. “Area Man Discovers the Holy Grail of York County Memorabilia” – Now if I could only figure out what that is.
Q. What is your favorite condiment?
A. Mayonnaise
Q. How would you describe yourself in three words?
A. Quiet, analytical, dedicated
Q. What video games do you play?
A. I honestly haven’t played in quite some time.
Q. What will you do if you won $2 million?
A. Eliminate our debt, invest in our daughter’s education, and purchase a home
Q. If you could take a time machine, what year would you pick and why?
A. 1995 so I could experience the birth of my oldest daughter again, or 1999 so I could experience the birth of my twin daughters again.
Q. If you were a T-shirt, what color would you be?
A. Do T-shirts really care what color they are?
Q. Would you rather fight a pirate or a samurai?
A. Definitely a samurai.
Q. What’s your favorite type of pasta?
A. Anything mixed into a good sauce.
Q. What’s your favorite kind of pickle?
A. Ewwwww
Q. What is your favorite Pennsylvania Dutch dish?
A. Chicken pot pie
Q. Would you blindly eat a Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Jelly Bean without looking at the color?
A. Sure, no pain no gain
Q.If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
A. Abraham Lincoln. He had so many difficult decisions to make while suffering from depression.
