Google Doodle honors the 200th birthday of author Charles Dickens.

Charles John Huffam Dickens was born on Feb. 7 1812 in Landport, England. His books include “A Christmas Carol,” “Oliver Twist,” “Tale of Two Cities” and “Great Expectations.”

The doodle includes characters from his books. How many do you recognize?

To my journo friends, did you know that Dickens started his career as a journalist?
