Brown’s Orchard and Market near Loganville, Pennsylvania, hosted a Civil War encampment over Memorial Day weekend. The event featured the 45th Pennsylvania Infantry, a reenactor group which commemorates a regiment raised primarily in Lancaster County during the Civil War. The event at Brown’s also featured book signings by authors James McClure, Scott L. Mingus, Sr., Dr. Thomas M. Mingus, and Scott L. Mingus, Jr.

Scott L. Mingus, Sr. is a scientist and executive in the paper and printing industry, as well as the author of several books and magazine articles on the Civil War, including some that deal primarily with York County during the Gettysburg Campaign.
