Count him out

Here's an update on Hellam resident Chris Walsh's bid for state auditor general. He's bowing out of the race, saying that Republican opponent Chet Beiler found a problem with some of his nominating petitions. As I stated at greater length in a previous post, I figured something like this would happen, though I give Walsh credit for trying.

Whoah! It just occurred to me! I was RIGHT about something!

Cool! I might as well use my new-found powers of punditry to make a few more predictions. Ron Paul will clinch the Republican nomination. He'll pick Larry Craig as his running mate. Also, acid-washed jeans will make a comeback. Then all those women at the Hardware Bar will feel bad for laughing at me.

Acid-washed jeans. Boy, am I glad I gave up my dislike of politics to read your blog! Hainthaler would be so proud.
