So how was your Presidents Day?
Mine was pretty dang frustrating. It's one of those holidays where the government workers I generally write about get the day off, but I don't.
It's not that I begrudge those government workers their day off. It's not like a holiday in the middle of February is going to afford them a lot of opportunities to lie around and sip Margaritas on the beach anyway.
It's just that anybody to whom I need to talk for a story is out of his or her office today. Suffice it to say this wasn't the most productive workday of my career.
