If you're one of my (very few) regular readers, you may notice that the blog has a new name. It's now "Fun With Politics."
The previous name, "Articles of Confabulation," was a play on "Articles of Confederation." It was very clever, if I say so myself. It was so clever that nobody knew what the hell the blog was about.
That's not the only change I intend for this blog.
For one thing, this corresponds with a change on my beat. Covering York County government is now my main job, but I'm also supposed to keep an eye on state government. Accordingly, the main emphasis of this blog will be on York County politics, but the goings-on in Harrisburg will also be fair game.
Finally, here's what I personally consider to be the biggest change. I intend to open this blog up.
Before, it was mostly just me writing my opinions. Yeah, like you don't get enough of other peoples' opinions in your life.
If you're reading this, I'd like you to think of yourself as a contributor as much as a reader. I'd like for this blog to be a forum of public opinion.
And I might as well admit that I have no idea where this is going to go. But I can't wait to find out. And I hope you'll take this ride along with me.
