Texas Tea Party

| | Comments (1)

A lot of anti-tax fiscal conservatives are praising Texas Gov. Rick Perry for his insinuation that the Lonestar State would consider secession in response to federal spending policies.

I'm no economist. But I'm guessing that cutting yourself off from any federal aid for highways and bridges, much less cross-border conflicts with Mexican drug gangs, isn't the best way to lower taxes.

You're right - refusing federal aid isn't the best way to lower taxes.

The best way to lower taxes is to refuse federal aid and CUT SPENDING!
