THIS IS THE MOST CONVELUTED ORIENTATION SCHEDULE!!! FIRST OF ALL THERE IS A TYPING ERROR ON THE PAPER THEY SENT TO THE PARENTS WHERE TIME IS CONCERNED. IT SAYS “5 P.M. A 7 P.M.” FOR TIME. WHAT IS THAT???? SECONDLY, I SHOW UP FOR THE SCHEDULED ORIENTATION TO FIND OUT IT HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THIS EVENING. I WAS NOT NOTIFIED AT ALL AND I JUST TALKED TO THE PRINCIPAL LAST EVENING. THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE SCHOOL DISTRICT AND I REALLY DON’T THINK ANYTHING WILL TURN IT AROUND. I AM THINKING ABOUT HOME SCHOOLING MY CHILD INSTEAD OF SENDING HER TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. I COULD WORK FULL-TIME AND TEACH HER MORE THAN SHE WILL LEARN BY ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL DISTRICT. I WOULDN’T ATTEND THEIR RALLY ANYWAY. REALLY???? THEY HAVE TO OFFER HAIRCUTS TO STUDENTS BECAUSE THE PARENTS CAN’T TAKE THEIR CHILDREN TO GET THEIR HAIRCUT ON THEIR OWN? NEEDLESS TO SAY, I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE WAY THEY HANDLED ORIENTATION AND THIS ENTIRE SITUATION. I CAN’T WAIT TO MOVE OUT OF THE DISTRICT AND I AM SORRY I EVER MOVE INTO THIS STUPID CITY.
Sorry to hear. Which school does your daughter attend?
