More than 150 express interest in being new York College prez

The committee searching for a new York College president has reviewed more than 150 “expressions of interest,” according to an update on the college website.

“While the volume of candidates is notable, what is most remarkable is the number of well-qualified academic leaders who see York as an attractive opportunity and also have skills which appear to match our current and future needs,” the update says.

Sounds like it will be winter or spring before there’s any glimpse of finalists.
