Hanover groups plan fundraising theater workshop for kids

The Hanover Public School District’s drama department and the Parents Association Supporting Theatre Arts (PASTA) will hold a Theatre for Kids program Nov. 10 in the Hanover High School auditorium.

Kids in second to sixth grade can learn skills for the stage, such as theater games, acting and more, according to a news release. The workshop will be taught by Hanover drama directors Rene and Jessca Staub and Deb Smith, with help of high school drama students.

There will be a session from 10 a.m. to noon for grades 2, 3, and 4, and another session from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. for grades 5 and 6, the release says. Cost is $10 and space is limited.
