York Suburban students reach out to help YDR reporter fighting cancer

I often hear that we don’t acknowledge the good that students around York County do. Here’s a great example of some high school students working hard for the good of someone else – York Daily Record sports reporter Steve Navaroli, who has long covered the county swim scene.

Steve has been fighting throat cancer. Some York Suburban High School students took it upon themselves to create and sell T-shirts to help Steve and his family with medical expenses.

They started the Navaroli Nation, and others have been planning efforts to help Steve, too.
