Northeastern helps nearly 600 children celebrate the holidays

The Northeastern School District has once again collected thousands of gifts for needy families in the district, through its Operation Help-A-Neighbor program.

This year, the district has helped provide toys, clothes and gift cards for nearly 600 children, through donations from community members, businesses and staff members, according to a news release.

District social workers Kathy Minnich and Sally Reed organized the process. It’s the 15th year the district has held the drive.
