West Shore School District looks to sell Mount Zion Elementary building

Looks like another school building in York County is for sale.

I noticed this public notice from West Shore School District today. It says that the district is accepting bids to purchase the former Mt. Zion Elementary School, which was closed before the 2012-13 school year.

The Lewisberry school property includes 10 acres, according to the ad. More information about the bid terms and conditions is online. If you’re in the market for a school, you have until Feb. 1 to bid.

I reported previously that Red Lion Area School District had listed the former Chanceford Elementary, which closed in 2009, for sale. The district was asking $625,000 for the building, which sits on about 8 acres.
