Pennsylvania is expected to release new School Performance Profiles today.
Every public school will get a score, based on several achievement measures, such as PSSA and Keystone scores, student growth data, graduation and attendance rates.
Schools are no longer measured as making “adequate yearly progress” or AYP because the state received a waiver from some requirements of No Child Left Behind.
Title I schools, which have a high percentage of low income students, could receive additional designations based on high or low performance.
