State board rejects renewal of New Hope Academy’s charter

Update: The state Charter Appeal Board voted not to renew the charter for New Hope Academy Charter School. The board said the school must close by Jan. 15.

New Hope could appeal to Commonwealth Court.

The state Charter Appeal Board is expected to decide today on the matter of New Hope Academy Charter School’s renewal.

The York City School Board voted in 2012 not to renew the school’s charter, but the school appealed.

    Of course Mr Anderson would say the appeal board got it wrong. He just lost most of his cash cow! This was a profit making thing from the beginning!
