York Suburban taking applications for board seat

The York Suburban School Board is now taking applications for someone to fill the remaining two years of a four-year seat on the board.

The resignation of board member William Kirk was accepted at the Nov. 18 board meeting.

Interested York Suburban School District residents should submit applications, including biographical information, to Wendy Erwine by 4:30 p.m. Dec. 4.

The application can be found online at www.yssd.org or obtained by contacting Erwine at 885-1210.

Applicants will be interviewed by the board at a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9. The successful applicant will be seated at the Dec. 16 board meeting.
