This week has been National School Choice Week, and some local schools found ways to participate.

Participants in School Choice Week believe parents should be able to choose the best educational environments for their children, according to the movement’s website.

Locally, Lincoln Charter School held a rally Thursday afternoon, that included presentations on the history of the school, as well as musical and dance performances.

Achievement House Cyber Charter School, which has a local resource center, held a “virtual rally,” aiming to give students a chance to explain why they chose cyber school.

And New Hope Academy, a school fighting for the chance to remain open, posted the video below for School Choice Week. They also rallied at the state Capitol, and held other activities.

Any other activities I missed? Let me know in the comments.
