Learn more about social media with free workshop at Central York

Central York School District has free technology workshops to help district parents navigate the technology their kids are using both in and outside of school, according to the district’s e-newsletter.

There’s a workshop on social media tools Feb. 18.

“The Social Media sessions will help parents to understand some of the most popular social media tools such as Twitter, SnapChat, and Vine and the digital footprint they can leave behind. We will help with how they work, what to look out for, and what to talk to your kids about to stay safe, but yet still have fun,” the newsletter says.

The newsletter suggests bringing a laptop or iPad to try out different resources.

The sessions are free. Learn more about them here, or register here.
