PSSA test windows extended because of the weather

The testing period for the PSSA math, reading and writing assessments has been extended to accommodate for instructional time lost because of the weather, according to the Pennslvania Department of Education.

Pennsylvania State Police released a report on school safety and security that notes last year’s school shooting in Newtown, Conn., and makes basic recommendations for steps schools can take to improve security or their response to an incident.
