Accused sexting extortioner no show in court

A bench warrant has been issued for the Philadelphia man accused of attempting to extort a former girlfriend.

Judge John S. Kennedy also revoked the man’s ROR bail Tuesday after the 25-year-old failed to appear in York County court for his pretrial conference on charges of extortion and harassment, both misdemeanors.

The bench warrant and bail revocation means the defendant, if found, will be held in custody until he can petition for a bail hearing before Kennedy.

The man is accused of threatening to send a nude photo of the young Etters woman to her family and friends unless she gave him $500 cash, her laptop or her flat screen TV.
