Kara Stoley, 18, of Shrewsbury poses as if she were holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa during an eight-day trip to Italy in July. During the trip, which was her high school graduation present, she visited Rome, Florence and Venice.
Her travel tip: Walk as much as possible in Rome. You can miss some great ruins if you’re in a taxi or bus.
Leaning... on her hand?

Hi
My name's Jemma Egan. I'm an artist based in Liverpool in the UK. I'm trying to compile images of people pushing/holding The Leaning Tower of Pisa for an ongoing project I've been working on for some time. I found lots of photographs similar to yours when I was looking for something else and I really liked them and wanted to share them with other people. So far my collection of images has been exhibited in a couple of small galleries but I’m hoping sometime in the future to put together a small publication of the collection.
I really like your photograph and I’d really like to add it to my collection and possibly use it for the publication and I wondered if you would be so kind as to grant me permission to use it?
If it is okay for me to use your photograph, I would like to send you a very short word document to fill in for my records. I can email it to you if you send me your email address.
Thanks
Jemma
