He and Norma Jean Mitzel, both of York Township, enjoyed an 18-day trip to Germany and France, during which they visited York's sister cities -- Arles, France, and Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany.
They traveled on high-speed trains from Frankfurt to Paris to Monte Carlo and back again, enjoying the sights, clear blue skies, food and friends along the way.
Their travel tips: Pack light and wear comfortable shoes.
