I hate this guy

Richard Arens.

I don't know what this guy looks like, but I know that anyone who pushes the price of crude oil past $100 a barrel for the attention and "just to see if he could" deserves a dart in the brian.

Talk about greed and power-tripping.

Apparently, the guy runs a one-man oil brokerage, so filling up his own gas tank probably doesn't hurt. But I'd like him to meet someone who is having to choose between filling their gas tank to drive to work and medical appointments and putting food on the table for their family.

What do you think?

I agree. This guy isn't the devil. He's just the guy who runs into the store to pick up a six-pack for the devil's 15-year-old son and his friends!!

I don't know anything about this. Can you post a link to a story?

I highly doubt that this guy is the sole reason that oil prices are where they are at and we really shouldn't "hate" anyone. We can "hate" what they do or do not do, but not the person. In todays world, there is too much "hate."

Jamie, you've gotta lighten up. I doubt Miss Vogelsong really hates anyone. Anyone!

Well Bill, I dont know, it's right there in black and white and even a hint of some cruel and unusal punishment. No big deal. Hating is a main source of deviance and as Durkheim stated, deviance plays an integral role of a society's function as it reaffirms the norms.
It just happens to be that I am not that fond of that particular terminology. People are hated all the time because they are different.....ethnicity, religion, gender, etc. As I stated, in todays world, there is extremely too much hating going around. It's like a plaque. I think that Miss Vogelsong knows where I am coming from.

In an ideal world, people would love me for my sweet, loveable and kind personality, but let's face it-- some 'hate' me because I'm short, fat, bald and old. No, people don't really hate me for that, they just look at me differently than the handsome studs running around. I understand that. Big difference between that usage of 'hate' and real hate. Maybe to be even more accurate, Ms. Vogelsong hated the idea that someone could do what he did-- not the person that did it. Jen is, indeed, a kind soul.
