Gerry Hartman of Hellam Township traveled to Ely, Minn., last March for a five-day dogsledding and camping trip along the Canadian border. The trip was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. This picture was taken on one of the frozen lakes of the boundary waters with fellow dogsledders and Inuit sled dogs.
