
York resident Gary P. Williams has been named controller at Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg.
He manages day-to-day financial activities of the seminary's accounting and business and related activities and helps wrestle the school's $6 million budget, student accounting and the seminaries programs and partner organizations.
Williams, who started April 20, most recently worked as senior vice president and chief financial officer for the nonprofit Pressley Ridge of York, which provides services to troubled and developmentally challenged children.
He's also done accounting and financial services work for nonprofits such as the United Cerebral Palsy of South Central PA and the VNA in Hanover, according to a news release.
