FaithNet agenda includes poverty, housing, family

Local faith and community leaders will discuss poverty, housing and strengthening the family during FaithNet 2011, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 12 at the Yorktowne Hotel in York.
The event is a follow up to last summer’s York City Pastors Summit. Like the first summit, FaithNet is sponsored by the York County Council of Churches and has the support and participation of York Mayor Kim Bracey, who is among the scheduled speakers.
Other speakers will include the Rev. Jonathan West of the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church and Kevin Daniels of Morgan State University’s department of social work.
