I have written extensively in this space about my religious curiosity and the differences in beliefs among the many churches I have visited over the past seven months on the beat. Belief systems play a central role in whether people feel comfortable in a particular church. We had a discussion in the office yesterday about the rise of contemporary church services. At the same time, Father Peter of the very conservative St. John Chrysostom Antiochian Orthodox Church said his church is growing as well.
