Dover Township’s Volunteer Firefighters look back at 2012

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have a firefighter’s perspective of fighting a massive blaze, look no further than Dover Township’s Volunteer Fire Department.

The department has long been using technology to its advantage. Most recently, firefighters here starting using iPads to map out the area and even strapping video cameras to their helmets and using the footage during training.

According to the department’s website, Dover Township’s firefighters responded to 568 call and 42 working fires, among other things in 2012.
