Crews were not out today to inspect the Route 372 bridge (the Norman Wood Bridge) over the Susquehanna River in southeastern York County because of the inclement weather.
However, they are expected to be out there tomorrow, said Mike Crochunis, a spokesman for the state Department of Transportation. The inspection is slated to run through Wednesday.
The inspection is being done as a follow-up to a PPL blasting operation. Crews will be out there between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and drivers will see lane restrictions.
Workers will be hanging over the side in a bucket truck.
About 4,075 vehicles cross that bridge daily.
