Sometimes I get so busy in the evenings that I am still out running errands until 10 p.m. By that time, I am really hungry.
Last night, I found myself driving from Lancaster between 9:30 and 10:20 p.m. thinking the whole drive what I was going to do about dinner. I debated just going home and having a bowl of cereal, but that didn't sound like dinner.
I try to think of new places to try, but not much is open at 10 p.m. so I always settle on Sheetz. They are every fast food joint rolled into one convenient store. They have everything - salads, toasted subs, cold subs, quesadillas, pizza, panninis, burgers, fries, mac and cheese. When you order, you don't even have to talk to anyone, all your selections are right in front of you on the Made-to-order touch screen.

I prefer the Sheetz on Queen Street because they have tables both inside and out.
When I stopped last night, the parking lot was full. It seemed to be the high-school hang out. Yet, still, I only waited about 10 minutes for my food.
I grabbed a small container of grapes from the to-go cooler. That, along with my hot chicken sub cost me $5.
You can make almost any combination of meals from Sheetz. They have chips, candy, fruit, every beverage imaginable, raw vegetables, milkshakes, coffee and more.
No wonder I can't lay off the Sheetz, they offer something for everyone 24 hours a day.
When you find yourself hungry for dinner at 10 p.m. at night, where do you eat?
