Emmy's: The half-way point

| | Comments (0)

If the Emmy's actual end at the scheduled three-hour mark, we're about half-way through. And I gotta say, things need to pick up if I'm going to stay awake for another hour and a half.

The show has had it's moments: Katherine Heigl's clearly mouthed explitive after she unexpectadly won best supporting actress in a drama series. "The Office" cast's bashing of Steve Carrell. The introductions to the writers of the shows nominated for outstanding writing for a vareity, music or comedy program (particurally the Bill Maher bathroom-stall scan).

But everything else ... eh.

Even Ellen DeGeneres seemed to fall flat when she introduced...something.

I'm really crossing my fingers for the possibility of Justin Timberlake doing an encore of the "(Blank) in a Box" song from "Saturday Night Live."
