All over Maryland there are red boxes at McDonald's and other retail locations that advertise $1 DVDs. Upon further investigation, I found out that these are operated by a company called redbox and you really can rent a DVD for $1 a night. You can return it to any redbox. New releases come out on Tuesdays and all you have to do is swipe your credit card.
Good news, the boxes are now in York. I saw the one at Shoprite in York Township. You can search the Web site here to find locations near you. There also have redboxes at Giant in West Manchester, Springettsbury and York Townships. Happy renting!

I used to use these all the time when I lived in Maryland. They really are the best deal around.
I think they're the best in the kiosk business. Other kiosks like CoinStar or Photo finishing machines~~
