The Writers Guild of America denied the request to allow writers to work on the Golden Globes broadcast Jan. 13 on NBC. The guild also turned down the Academy Awards' request to use clips from past shows on the Feb. 24 broadcast on ABC, and it will probably deny requests for writers on the Academy Awards broadcast as well. Come on, it’s the Oscar’s 80th year. The writers deserve to fight for their fair share, but they're turning their backs on the biggest nights in Hollywood. Cold blooded.
