Wearing matching outfits, Cutie Pie and Baby Face stood side-by-side awaiting the results. Surprise! Cutie Pie, aka David Cook, won by 12 million votes. He went in for the bro grab with Baby Face before breaking out in happy tears. Actually, the most surprising thing of all was when judge Simon Cowell apologized for his mean comments. So that's it until January 2009. Luckily, the commercial breaks were as plentiful as the shameless plugs. Let's just hope that everyone who voted for the finalists will vote in the presidential election.
