Country Time = crunk times
The long weekend led to massive amounts of fliff.
Friday night, I ventured out to Cobblestones to watch the Phillies game. I almost choked on my beer when Astros pitcher Jose Valverde got nailed in the head with a ball. Luckily, he was fine.
Saturday, I did a mini bar tour and hit up The WaterWay Bar and Grill, White Rose Bar & Grill and Harp & Fiddle.
I caught some Mardi Gras beads and Turning Point's performance at White Rose's first annual Spring Fling and saw Baltimore band Radio Caroline at Harp.
Sunday, I attended a Memorial Day extravaganza complete with bocce, pasta salad, gangster rap and some sort of communal lemonade concoction. Monday, I tried to recover with a pit stop at Round the Clock Diner and then went out to Lake Marburg to catch some serious rays, aka get sunburned.
In the rest of the world, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" pulled in big bucks at the box office, and Sydney Pollack passed away.
