Are Netflix and I through?
Netflix helped me survive single life without cable.
The three-movies-at-a-time package for $18.01 a month came in handy when nothing good was on channel 8, the only almost-clear channel I got with rabbit ears.
I watched five straight episodes of HBO's "The Wire" and got completely caught up on "Gray's Anatomy."

But then, I got married and along with a husband, I got DirectTV and DVR. And Netflix wasn't a necessity anymore.
I've had one DVD since May 15, another since May 29 and another since June 18.
I relied on Netflix at least three or four times a week before. What happened?
With like 800 channels, I can never say "nothing is on" and resort to a DVD. I've thought about cutting ties and canceling, but I can't bring myself to do it. We have too much of a past.
Every movie I have ever wanted to see is on there and even the ones that aren't released, I can save so I remember I want to watch them in the first place.
And it knows me. It tells me what movies it thinks I will like and what I will rate them after I see them. And it's pretty accurate.
I don't know, maybe I'm over Netflix, but I just can't break the ties.
