Dancer and Actress Cyd Charisse died Tuesday at the age of 87. Charisse danced with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. Her famous roles were in "Singin' in the Rain" and "Silk Stockings."
Charisse married Nico Charisse, a dance director at MGM studios in 1939. The couple divorced in 1947. She married singer Tony Martin in 1948.
Nico Charisse remarried and had a son, Marc Charisse, who is now editor-in-chief at The Evening Sun in Hanover.
