Feel the fierceness.
I drowned my sorrows about my upcoming separation from the scene, with a farewell drink pitcher at WaterWay Bar & Grill Thursday evening.
I traveled back to the East Side Friday for part two of Wedding Bonanza 2008. Luckily, I had Coldplay's new album "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" to keep me company.
Yes. I went to Target first thing Tuesday morning and paid $9.98 plus tax for the actual CD instead of iTuning it.
Yes. I sang it at the top of my lungs in my car for the rest of the week regardless of what other motorists would think.
(If you haven't noticed I have no shame yet, you will by reading the rest of the entry.)
After catching my brother's baseball game and preparing myself mentally for all the craziness Saturday morning, it was off to the outdoor ceremony.
With the help of a cosmo and the videographer, I found myself leading the Macarena, having a runway walk-off with my sister during Madonna's "Vogue" and spitting mad game in a rap battle with my brother and cousin to "In Da Club" by 50 Cent at the reception.
After grabbing some cake to go and some much-needed sleep, I awoke Sunday feeling rested and just a little embarrassed. After I got back to my sweltering apartment, watching "Some Like It Hot" with a tall glass of iced tea was the most appropriate thing I could think to do.
Check back next Monday for the third and final edition of Wedding Bonanza 2008.
