Here's the latest buzz from the music scene.
Local singer/songwriter Mark De Rose was contacted by people from the CBS soap "Guiding Light." It seems like they want to possibly use his music for the show.
Local rapper Michael T. Wright, aka G-Don, is being signed by independent Virginia-based label Make A Mill Entertainment.
Coldplay lit up the charts last week. Their album, "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends," sold more than 700,000 copies, despite recent plagarism claims.
U.S. indie group Creaky Boards said that the Brit band ripped off the title track from them. But it seems like both bands wrote the song at about the same time. Anyway, this video is pretty hilarious.
