Danity Kane makes "Damaged" look good.
All-female groups Danity Kane and Jada will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 12 on the York Fair's Toyota Grandstand. Danity Kane were the stars of MTV's "Making the Band." Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the York Fair Box Office, 334 Carlisle Ave. in West Manchester Township. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at 848-2033 and online at www.yorkfair.org. Cost is $25 for track, plaza and center grandstand seats and $20 for side track, plaza and grandstand seats.

Harrisburg rockers Bridges And A Bottle landed in the top 15 in an online contest to open for Coldplay's tour stop in Philadelphia. Fans can vote on Philadelphia radio station WMMR's Web site. The members of Coldplay will then judge the three videos that receive the most votes, and grant the winner a 20-minute opening slot before their performance at the Wachovia Center July 25. The deadline for fan voting is Thursday.
