I like dirt more than the Red Hot Chili Peppers do.
Summer wouldn't be complete without my aunt's annual 4th of July party, which I headed to on Friday. The weather left something to be desired, but I made the best of it by playing washers, eating watermelon and drinking wine coolers. But the highlight by far was the bucket of dirt dessert.
After watching the Phillies game and fireworks, I decided to watch the "Hairspray" movie. What could be more American than John Travolta dressed in drag?
I awoke early Saturday morning to watch Venus Williams win the ladies' singles final at Wimbledon. Check out her line of sportswear here.
I then headed to the second house party of the weekend, where I got my fill of baked ziti, bean bags and beer. Good. Times.
After making a pit stop at the Nautilus Diner, it was off to Borders, where I bought a copy of "Roman Holiday" for $8. Score!
In the rest of the world, Nicole Kidman had a baby girl. Her name is Sunday. The weird baby name trend continues.
