'Last Comic Standing' finale
Tonight is the finale of "Last Comic Standing."
I'm kind of confused as to why they let the final five comics perform last week and then forced America to choose a winner. We've barely seen full sets by these comics. But the top five (even the top eight) are really talented.
I bet Jeff Dye wins. He's young, attractive and funny. But Iliza Shlesinger really gave the guys a run for their money. And Marcus' impressions are crazy. But then there is Jim Tavare, who is full of brilliant one liners. And Louis Ramey who won my affection when he made fun of the Amish.
The 90-minute finale also will include "Last Comic Standing" campaign ads filmed by Barack Obama and John McCain.
And if you love "Last Comic Standing" as much as I do, then check out "Last Comic Standing Winners" at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center. Three past winners will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2.
